Whether it’s a sly pun or a witty observation about the absurdity of the situation, Hendrix’s humor is always on point. ![]() ![]() On the other hand, there’s a lot of humor woven throughout the narrative that helps to break up the tension. On the one hand, it’s definitely a horror story - there are plenty of spine-tingling moments that will have you breaking out in goosebumps. One of the things that sets this book apart is its unique mix of genres. From start to finish, the novel is a rollercoaster ride of scares, laughs, and unexpected twists. I’m happy to report that “How to Sell a Haunted House” did not disappoint. With troubled family relationships and a malevolent spirit lurking around, Louise has her work cut out for her.Īs a long-time fan of Grady Hendrix’s works, I was eager to dive into this latest offering. Published in January 2023, this horror-comedy-drama hybrid follows the story of Louise, a young mom who inherits her parents’ haunted house after their death.
